simpler way to model circuit board cooling

Is there a way to do it without CHT, maybe with buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam? Maybe, instead of specifying a temperature on your circuit board, you could leave those patches as zeroGradient, then make an internal patch with fixed temperature?
