Hello
I am trying to simulate bubble column with a combination of interfoam and kinematic cloud parcels (for bubble parcels).

I came across the properties
model1
{
type patchInjection;
massFlowRate .000072;
massTotal .0072;//
SOI 0;
nParticle 10; //is this the no. of particles in a parcel
parcelBasisType fixed;
patchName inlet;
parcelsPerSecond 1e2;
duration 20;
U0 (0 2 0);//is this the velocity of parcels at inlet
flowRateProfile constant 1;

sizeDistribution
{
type RosinRammler;
RosinRammlerDistribution
{
minValue 5e-3;
maxValue 5e-3;
d 5e-3;
n 3;
}

}
}

}

How is the mass flow rate determined for the parcels injected. What is the density used for calculation of the mass flow rate. is the volume flow rate (before multiplication with density to calculate mass flow rate) determined by using the velocity U0 in the above list times the area of inlet patch..Then what is the role of the diameter of particles specified in the distribution.
