Dear all ,
I was doing the oppositeBurningPanels tutorial provided with the combustion solver fireFoam. In parallel with 6 cores, there is no reconstructPar command in the Allrun script so at the end of the simulation , I couldn't post-process my data. Then I have tried , to use reconstructPar without option and I got some error message , I also have tried with the option - region panelRegion as this tutorial creates an other region in the domain but it did not work. Did someone meet this issue and find a way to solve it ? Thank you in advance ! |

Hi,
You should define well your number of procs. that must be the same in system/decomposeParDict and /panelRegion/decomposeParDict and in Allrun file. This also must be compatible with the decomposition of domain by the definition of n ( ) in the decomposeParDict file. If did not work. You can try chech and post back your log. files contents, such as the: log.decomposePar.log log.decomposeParPanelRegion.log etc... Good Luck Regards, T.D. Quote:

Hi, I have tried this tuto to test refineMesh. I got at the first time "reconstructPar error" indicating I am missing file G in processor4. Strange.
But then I use ./Allrun instead of typing every line in Allrun. I got it right and there are error when I open with paraview (not a severe error). |
