[mesh manipulation] how should we remove the Concave cells from the mesh?

In order to mesh a 2D geometry, I used snappyHexMesh and then extrudeMesh. What I obtained was some hex elements (concaveCells, to be specific) that were decomposed into tet elements.
This comment clarified this as a representation issue not a polyMesh problem.
