Dear fellow OF users,

CRITICAL ERROR

Summary
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Base configuration ok.
The foam installation contains 1 critical error(s).

Review the output for warning messages and consult
the installation guide for troubleshooting.

Done

I am also wondering why the highlighted Linux version is 5.4.0-42-generic, among other things.

Prior to this step, foamSystemCheck produced the below output:

Checking basic system...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shell: bash
Host: gimerstick
OS: Linux version 5.4.0-42-generic
User: yoda

System check: PASS
==================
Can continue to OpenFOAM installation.

I have also attached the log.linux64GccDPInt32Opt in case it clears things up.

Any help would be highly appreciated

Thanks!

Dear Tanmay,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

The problem was solved by excluding the -q out of .A/llwmake -j -s -q -l command, as was suggested, in the link you provided.

Cheers,
Nick
