My study interest was to extract sloshing forces and through literature review, I found the interDyFoam is merged with the new interFoam solver in OF-v7. I have installed OpenFOAM 7 and successfully completed the simulation.
My advice to the new bees is to first narrow down the search based on the case which one wants to apply and the then look for the solver and later install the OF available from the different sources. This is my favourite site which helped me to know about OpenFOAM http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Main_Page About, Foam-Extend I haven't checked it but I am eager to look into it once I get more knowledge about OpenFOAM run environment. Thanks |
