Hi all,
I want to try changing the alphaExponent value in the relaxationSchemeSpatial.C file and then re-run a simulation with the different value. I went in and changed the value in the code and then tried to compile with wmake and got the following error: Code:
In file included from relaxationZone/relaxationScheme/spatial/relaxationSchemeSpatial.C:27:0: relaxationZone/relaxationScheme/spatial/relaxationSchemeSpatial.H:43:30: fatal error: relaxationScheme.H: No such file or directory compilation terminated. make: *** [Make/linux64GccDPOpt/relaxationSchemeSpatial.o] Error 1 Thanks in advance Ariel |

Hi Ariel,
You should use the ./Allwmake command. It is the only way to make sure that cross version compatibility is handled; no matter how little a change you make. Furthermore, if I understand correctly, what you want, then the shape factor (alpha) is given a default value of 3.5, but you can change it by providing the correct keyword. Please consult the source code, as I do not have access to it at present. Kind regards, Niels

Hi Niels,
Thanks for your quick response. Ok that makes sense then. I should have realised I could just add the alphaExponent value. I'll give this a go and see how I get on. In a related question, I've noticed that the use of relaxation zones seems to affect the free surface elevation further up the domain, resulting in lower free surface elevation than expected. Is this something to do with the implementation of the relaxation zones? Thanks, Ariel |
