Hi Dear friends. I am simulating a colummn of wather in hidrostatic equilibrium and in the presence of the gravitational aceleration. My question is this: What is the representative velocity scale for this free-surface flow problem?

Thanks. Valdemir

How about \sqrt(gh)? where g is gravity acceleration, and h is the initial height of the dam.

Wood,

h=11,430 cm and g = 9.81.

Thanks
