Hi
I had a a problem like this and I tried varies versions of Gambit.
Finally when a changed the input file's path, it worked. My input (parasolid *.x_b) file's directory contained spaces and when I changed it, it worked with gambit 2.2.3

hi i am also having the same problem when importing my catia v5 files in gambit. i dont know whether i have translator license or not. please tell me how to check it and solve the problem.

i have problem with my gambit license file, when i import my
configuration from CATIA v5 to gambit, i have this error:
translation failed.
translator requires license feature geom-trans.

can anyone helps me?

I have tried importing *iges as well as *igs file, but there was the same problem of license. But when i changed the option from spatial to native then it got imported. So did i lose some information while doing so n wat is diff. in b/w these 2 options?

I solved it. It is a different license file that u need.

If you want to import iges/igs files into gambit pay for a license.

Default change the date back, about 2010.

change the date of your computer back,to about 2010.
