export your geometry as STEP file, and import this file within Gambit (FIle/import/STEP) you won't have any quality problem

Could always try CAD connections which you can download from the fluent website, think this eliminates the need for translating the Pro/E geometry. As step export is pretty unreliable with Gambit in my experience.

ProE CAD connection tools sit in WF2/3 and use granite kernel built into Gambit 2.3 so no translation. No extra licences for this tool just d/l from web and install to CAD. Otherwise use File>Import>CAD for direct read which is also better than translation via step which can corrupt geometry.
