Hi,
I'm trying to simulate vortex interaction of 2 vortices (Rankine, Oseen, Burgers) in 2D with an approaching flow. Here's a sketch (the o s are the vortices): vel.inlet------------wall-------------pressure outlet --_____________________________ ->----------------------------------------| ->----------------------------------------| ->--------------o-vortex-----------------| ->----------------------------------------| ->--------------o-vortex-----------------| ->----------------------------------------| ->----------------------------------------| --______________________________ ----------------wall I already tried to model the vortices in gambit as faces (circles) and tried to define them as velocity inlets boundary conditions. Unfortunately, this didn't work when I exported the mesh! Could an udf help? Can I adjust a udf as a velocity profile if there isn't any boundary? How can I solve this problem? I'd appreciate any help! Markus |
