Could someone please tell me if I could change the temperature unit, i.e. from Kelvin to Celsius degree, that is displayed on the color map of the temperature contour.

Thanks

Define -> Units

Scroll down under "Quantities" until you find temperature and select the units you want to use under "Units"

Good luck, Jason

Jason, do you know if I can change number format (default is in exponential form) or even unit of time (default is in second) displayed (when running unsteady case) on pictures generated by Fluent. For example, if you create a picture of static temperature contours at 5 minutes or 300 seconds, Fluent will show "(Time=3.0000e+02)" next to contours of static temperature at the bottom of the picture.

thank you.

I know you can change the number format on the colorbar by going to Display->Colormap and changing from exponential to float.

As for the time in the annotation of the picture... I'm not sure how to change that. One thing you can do is Display->Annotate and if you click on the time you can edit it. It's a bit awkward... I've had better luck clicking and holding because a cursur shows up when you do that and lets you know what you're editing. I would think there's a better way, but I don't know of any.

Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason
