Error while reading mesh file

Hi Fluent Users
iam getting an error while reading the mesh file, its a 3d geometry and the error its says is " skipping zone inlet_outlet_shadow (not referenced by grid)". here the inlet and outlet is periodic. any suggestion is appreciated. thanks in advanced regards sak |

even i'm getting the same error, is it really a error, or we can skip this. i'm solving periodic rotational flow

inlet_outlet is your periodic zone... inlet_outlet_shadow is a "shadow zone", which is basically a copy of inlet_outlet used to compute values across a periodic zone. It's not a problem. If Fluent requires another shadow zone, then it will create it.
