hi, i want to obtain your help. When i want to unit two volume(v-volume1 and v-volume2), the flowlling error appears: error: cann't operate on volume v-volume1 with associated non-real geometry error: cann't operate on volume v-volume2 with associated non-real geometry
but i really want to unit the two volumes, because the interface between the two volumes should be set as interior Boundary condition, but the default BC for it is wall BC. And when i cann't unit the two volumes, the interface cannot be set as interior BC. Even though the set operation in gambit is realised, but the Fluent cannot recognize the BC. Do you meet this kind of problem? Waiting for your answer! ann |

Change your connect options from "Real Connect" to "Virtual Forced"
It's not an ideal situation because you have virtual geometry, but once you have virtual geometry in, or connected to, one of the volumes, you can no longer use "Real Connect". If you get another error when trying "Virtual Force", try connecting vertices, then edges, then faces. Good luck, Jason |
