I use two interface to define a grid interface. The computation result shows that an obvious incontinuity happens for the values at the two side of the grid interface.
what is the cause for this problem? and how to solve it? Regards. |

when you create the iterface use splitting tool in gambit --- that should give you a wall and wall shadow pair when you export your geometry in fluent.
for example split a volume using face and you will get a wall and wall shadow pair in fluent -- try it out and you will know |

Hi,
If you have cells of very different sizes at the two sides of the interface, you should expect such discontinuites. Cell sizes may not be equal but cell volume ratios sould not be more than a few times. Regards emre |
