Grad and lift coefficient

Does anybody knows what these coefficients (Cl and Cd) represent, and particularly if these coefficients are scaled by the surface or not?

The definition of cd and cl are consistent with those in the interature. They are normalized by 0.5*rho*U**2*S (rho, U, S are density, reference velocity magnitude, and reference area all of which are defined in the "Report/Reference values" GUI panel.
