Hello CFD enthusiasts,
I am doing a 3d simulation of a body subjected to free stream boundary conditions. The BC is time dependent and specified via profile. I have specified pressure, temperature, and Mach and time. The monitor points are placed at the body. Since the pressure is varying with time, it should happen that data on points do change. And they are also placed behind the shock. This happens in 2D but in 3D the data in first few seconds change, but the point's recorded data again comes to 101325, while free stream data is continuously changing (decreasing w.r.t time). I do not know any reason behind this. The input profile is given using profile command in Fluent. This is not dependent on 3d or 2d. Hence, no xy coord are specified, Regards, SJ |
