When you created the mesh files, were you able to define the conductive zones in the battery module?

Thanks! I'll check the website now. And yes, I was able to define the conductive zones in the battery module. To do so you need to specify all the parts (tabs and cell) of your geometry as "Solid" (you need to modify the standard which is something like "geometry defined"). Hope this helps.

Hi,

The tutorial model in ansys, if u run it standalone, then u ll be getting high temperature in the cell/active material.

However, if u try to increase the discharge rate of current and try it, it should provide high temperature in tab components. ANd also the parameters used in the Defauls are for that specific model. If you change the geometry, then even the temperature development would also differ. Try to run an charge case with high current in the range of 2-3C's, then you may get it easily.
