Hi,

I have made a geometry which I will do an external analysis on. It is defined by 3 global variables I would like to do a parametric study on (In total 12 different geometries).

I have tried inserting these into a design table, but found out you can't put global variables into a design table. I have also tried the "Add dimension parameter" but nothing happens and no dimension is able to be selected as a dimension paramter.

Does anyone know what I can do for this? Or how to use the dimension parameters correctly?

Thanks

Just giving an update, I figured out a decent solution to the problem.

I have in the parameters variation selected each dimension I used the global variable on (essentially i didnt need them as global variables). I could then group them, so I only needed to change variation once.

This was particularily handy in my linear pattern dimension, where i had both the step and number of patterns changing. I could group both of them and it would variate them both at once.

The bad side about this is that I had one dimension which requires the computational domain to change (i have periodic boundary conditions). So for this dimension I made different configurations for each.

In the end I made 3 configurations with 80 scenarios each. This is much less work then the 12 configurations with 20 scenarios each which I would have used otherwise!
