Hello,
I have to stop a simulation because there's gonna be a power cut where I work. So I was looking for the way of doing a restart. I found out that it's possible and I tested, and when I wanted to review the results in CFD Post I found out that there are no results before the moment I've restarted my simulation, after this moment there is no problem with the results. What could I do? I'm new with this program and I donīt Know too much. Thanks in advance. Last edited by juansan; May 6, 2010 at 13:44. |

If you did not save a restart file before you stopped then you have nothing. You have to start again.

I have backup results saved and I haven't any problem with restarting from the last point, however when I try to review the results in CDF Post there isn't any information about the results before the restart point, I only have information from this point, on the other hand the information about user point in the CFX Solver Manager and residuals it's available. I would like to know if it is possible to review the previous results in the CFX Post.
Thanks. |

I am not really sure if I understand your question in the right way...
If you want to look to the results before the restart, you may open the last backup file in post. This might be the file which you used for the restart. |
