I keep getting an error when I try and upload a mesh into CFX-Pre and wondered if anyone can shed any light on it for me. I suspect it related to memory but can't be sure.
I have tried three separate meshes with 6.8 and 13.9 million elements and when I try to import them into Pre I get the following error. ERROR: Unable to identify a model with a DS object id of 40 in ….." I am running grid independency checks and my mesh with 5.5 million elements works perfectly. I am using a 4Gb machine with 2 CPUs (2.6GHz Xeon). Thanks for any suggestions. Jenny |

Hi,
You need to have 8-16 GB machine since your grid size is 20.7M(6.8 + 13.9). Regards, Jwala. |
