Hi,

This is easy - make a 1D interpolation function. To input the data, the easiest way is to set up the function in CFX-Pre with some dummy data (just two points say), then right click on the object and edit the CEL. You can then copy and paste the entire data set into the CEL. Make sure you match the CEL data format, that is comma separated.

what kind of function? Where i choose this function? For the heating, the equation is:

Heat flux [W m^-2] = (B*(19319.80036*(t/A)^3.2347)/(153.2668+(t/A)^3.2347)), where:

A = 1.0 [s] B = 1.0 [W m^-2]

I can't remember how you set up 1D interpolation functions in V5.6, but I know it can be done. Yes, interpolation functions can use time as input data.

Another post of yours suggests you could define this function as a mathematical expression rather than using an interpolation function. This is always a better way of doing it if a mathematical function describes the function.

I calculated two mathematical functions, one for heating e another for the cooling-off period. For the heating period (from 0 [s] up to 63.27 [s]), the mathematical function presented a little or nothing differences. The cooling-off period goes from 63.27 [s] up to 100.78 [s] !
