Hello,
I am pretty new to CFX and would like to find the Retention time distribution of a tracer in pond. Using the additional variable option, how do I add a mass of tracer? any comments would be appreciated! Thanks! |

Do a text search through the CFX manual for "residence time", there is a nice worked example for calculating it.
You dont add the mass of a tracer only its local concentration and diffusivity are relevant. (True lagrangian partical calcs are a different matter.) |
