Creating turbulence

Hi all,
I wanted to do analysis on creating turbulent flows in a mixing tank through nozzles.how can i approach this problem. how can i measutre the turbulance in cfx post. wht is the paramete which makes me confident tht turbulance has been generated in the vessle. can any 1 help me with this??? Hi,
Turbulence intensity (k) is the variable you are looking for. Do some slice planes or isosurfaces and see your turbulence levels. Glenn Horrocks |
