----- Error in subroutine FNDVAR : Error finding variable DENSITY_FL1 / GETVAR originally called by subroutine GET_MFLOIP_ZIF ----- My proble is mutiple domains of fluid ,and have a specific additional variable modelled using a transport equation through those domains. Please anyone tell me what is a meaning of these Error in CFX-5 Solver modelling.

Dear Roek,
The ANSYS CFX solver could not find the definition of density for the internal fluid FL1.. This is one of your fluid domains.. It seems is trying to compute the mass flow across a domain interface, and the fluid on the other side of the interface is not defined.. Do you have different fluids on both sides of a "Flui Fluid" domain interface? You should contact your CFX help desk and discuss your problem, and possible modeling alternatives. Good luck, Opaque. |

Yes, I have different fluids on both side of a Fluid-Fluid domain interfaces, but I set the solve fluids parameter (Expert Parameter)= f. Therefore, only an additional variable can transported through the domain interfaces. Do you think where I sould be check in my model. Thank you.

Dear Roek,
How did you manage to set this up? CFX-Pre should copy the definition of one fluid domain into the other..Therefore, all the fluid domains have the same physics.. The expert parameter solve fluids=f does exactly that: do not solve the fluids equations, but it sets up for everything.. It only skips the assembly and solution of linear equations.. You should discuss the details of your application with the help desk.. it seems your setup will not work.. Perhaps I still do not understand it correctly.. Good luck, Opaque.. |
