linear overflow

In my simulation, a water jet impacts on a plate (It's a free surface problem). CFX plots flat residuals lines but, after a variable iterations number, there are high fluctuations and simulation stop for overflow. What can I do? I've just reduced timestep until 1e-6 and I don't have enough RAM memory to refinish my mesh.
