!!!
Edit the Surface, set the color mode to variable, and the Variable to Pressure. Is this what you're after? Rui |

No. I want to get 2D graph. On X-axis I want chord of airfoil, on Y-axis I want pressure

Hi Dak,
This is the method I use: 1. Create a Plane (must be a slice) which cuts through the aerofoil at the section of interest. 2. Create a user surface which is a boundary interface between the surface and your new plane. 3. Export the data on the user surface for all the properties you are interested in. Note: This doesn't create a line across the surface, instead it is a plane which is one element wide. Regards Paul |

Hi,
Instead of creating a User Surface, you may create a Polyline as the intersection of the airfoil surface and the Plane you've created. In CFX-Post, you may create a Chart, Location: Polyline ; X axis: X, Y or Z ; Y axis: Pressure To obtain the chord, you'll have to export the geometry data and work it out. |
