Normal Velocity on an Inclined Plane

Hello, does anyone know how to calculate/display the normal velocity on an inclined plane in CFX-Post ?

Create the plane,
Create a vector plot, select projection method: Normal Hope the above helps, |

Define a new variable
Normal Velocity = Normal X * Velocity u + Normal Y * Velocity v + Normal Z * Velocity w Create contour for Normal Velocity.. |

What exactly does represent ''Normal X'' for example ? It could be Y vector, Z vector, YZ plane ... Sorry, but I'm not sure I fully understand the formula.
A simple example, if I apply this formula on a XY plane, that will be the Velocity z ? |
