Hi all,
Im trying to use CFX to do a transient simulation. i have a room with inlets that is inducing pure CO2 into the room. i would love to find out the mass fraction of the CO2 at the end of my simulation. Can anyone enlighten me with some steps? i couldnt get the mass fraction options at the results. Please help Thank you. |

Have you looked at the tutorial examples? There are examples of flows similar to this.

The variable name will be something like: "CO2.Mass Fraction" or whatever you named your CO2 fluid: "FluidName.Mass Fraction"

hi all, i believe i am supposed to insert expression in order to obtain the CO2 concentrations for transient analysis. any one knows where can i find the expressions to key in?

Erik's post gives the variable name. You might need to do a expression like volumeAve(CO2.Mass Fraction)@Domain or something like that to get the overall amount, however.
