i am simulating heat and mass transfer inside two phase closed thermosyphon. I want to analyse temperature distribution along the walls of the thermosyphon and volume fraction of vapor inside fluid domain.
I am using VOF model along with implicit scheme. I have also selected evaporation-condensation model inside phase interaction along with surface tension coefficient using UDF.

My question is can we use only residuals of volume fraction and energy to compute temperature and volume fraction inside thermosyphon by unchecking residuals of continuity and momentum residuals since i am using implicit scheme.
