Hi,
I'm currently trying to simulate flow and diffusion of a fiber inside a bath. I'm new to ANSYS Polyflow and basically trying to adapt ANSYS Polyflow Tutorial Chapter 8: Flow of Two Immiscible Fluids by Species Method to my needs. I'm trying to draw the fiber through the bath as shown in the attached Geometry.jpg, however the fiber does not pass the whole bath as seen in velocity.png. I tried to impose a velocity on the fiber (submodel: V or F imposed), but it doesn't seem to work as intended. Instead of a constant velocity drawing my fiber through the bath, the velocity ends up at 0. Somehow there is a velocity imposed above my fiber which I can't understand. Am I using the right submodel? How can i successfully draw the fiber through the bath? I hope I described the problem understandable, please tell me if you need additional information. Thanks for your help! |
