Hello again,
Short version: Is it possible to look into the formulas which ansys is using to calculate the turbo mode? I wasn't able to find actual formulas in the manuals or .ccl files. This isn't supposed to be a black box right? Background: I am trying to calculate the circumferential velocities without turbo mode (I have a axis-unsymetric static cone part infront of a pump). I used expressions to generate a new y(z), r(z) and Theta(z). But I am not sure about the correct formula I can or should use to calculate circumfernetial velocity. To compare ansys and my results I calculated r,theta and velocieties on my own for a domain which is axis symmetric so I could use the turbo mode. Comparing the results the circ vel differs but r and theta are quite the same. So it seems again like... Ansys knows something I do not... Thank you very much in regard Cheers Anny Last edited by **Anny**; July 21, 2015 at 05:33. |
