I am having a problem doing an hexahedral mesh using ICEM. It actually happen doing a modification of a previous successful mesh I constructed. Then I introduce additional edges to have more control while refining the mesh but then when I commanded the mesh to be built it was distorted. I notice that the vertices where the distortion was originated where marked red. In addition when I run the check/fix function it showed the following problem.
Any advice? Regards, Eduardo |

I would be happy to help, but I can't see any attachment...
By default, I would suggest checking your associations to see if they are causing the trouble... Also check your distributions (at 12.1, the new split will inherit the distribution of its closest neighbor, but at 12.0 or older, you will need to copy the distribution to the new split edges). You could also try the check fix function. Simon |
