Hi,
I have tried to solve 2D fluidic oscillator problem on Ansys Fluent. I have used k-w SST & Eulerian multiphase model. For boundary conditions, there are only inlet velocity for water and also outlet pressure. All faces are seperated for face meshing and quad mesh method. However, quad mesh cannot be managed very well on throat area, there are critical problems on skewness and orthogonality problem. Experimental and CFD analysis results cannot be oscillated within same area. In analysis, oscillating area is less than half of oscillating area that occurred in reality. My guess, the reason of difference is throat mesh quality. Do you have any comment or advice for this problem? I have attached the image of mesh in this thread , Thanks in advance |

Why not use unstructured polyhedra in Fluent?
