A three-day course in "New trends in CFD for external vehicle aerodynamics" will be given for the second time at Chalmers, Gothenburg, Sweden, between 6-8 February 2013.

The course will be useful for engineers and PhD students working with CFD in vehicle aerodynamics in industry as well as at universities. The course will cover usage of CFD in both road vehicle aerodynamics and train aerodynamics. During the lectures we will discuss the theory and during the workshops we will learn how to prepare, run and analyze different time-dependent CFD simulations for vehicle aerodynamics. Furthermore, MATLAB programs will be used for aerodynamic shape optimization. There will be a PC workstation for each participant at the workshops.
