Due to popular demand Flownex Simulation Environment now offers monthly webinar training. The web based training sessions will be presented at specific times on the last Thursday and Friday of every month.
The training is aimed at presenting features within Flownex Simulation Environment that will enable our users to provide more efficient and powerful solutions. The training will enable both new and experienced users to fully harness the power of Flownex Simulation Environment.
To register for the training please link to Training Registration and provide us with some basic information. After registration, details of the web training will be sent to your e-mail address. Your information is protected by our Privacy Policy.
Detail of all the training sessions can be seen on the Flownex Calendar. The Training during January 2010 will be held on 28th January from 8:00 to 9:00 hours CAT and repeated on Friday 29th January from 8:00 to 9:00 hours CAT.
The January training will cover gas mixtures and the excel workbook component. The training will be based on a natural gas pipeline that supplies natural gas from two natural gas sources with different gas compositions, the aim of the simulation is to determine the new mixture composition of the natural gas.
The natural gas consists of methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane, hexane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
The excel component will be used to convert the gas composition from mole fractions to mass fractions and transfer the data directly to the Flownex Network.
It will be illustrated how to generate a new fluid in Flownex based on data obtained from third party software.
Flownex will then calculate the natural gas supply composition taking into account both natural gas sources.
