Call for Papers

As an active member of the Fluent automotive community, we invite you to submit a proposal for consideration as a speaker at the 2006 Automotive CFD Summit in Dearborn. Entries are being accepted for technical presentations as well as posters showcasing your CFD analysis using Fluent software. As always, there is no fee to attend this meeting.

We are currently accepting papers in all areas of CFD, however, the Program Chair is specifically interested in receiving submissions related to the following topics:

  • Chemically reacting flows
  • Design optimization
  • Fluid-structure interaction
  • Multiphase flow modeling
  • Noise prediction
  • Positive displacement pumps
  • Powertrain applications
  • Separation and filtration
  • Thermal management

Schedule of Deadlines for Technical Presentations

Please be aware that by submitting a topic for consideration, you are committing to the following deadline schedule:

April 15, 2006: topic submission due using the form below

May 15, 2006: final presentations will be chosen by planning committee

May 30, 2006: authors notified of acceptance

August 1, 2006: brief abstract of your presentation (100 words or less) along with a 50 word professional biography and a color headshot photo of the presenter in TIF or JPEG format due; these materials will be published in the Program Guide; please start your biography with a short description of your current position

August 1, 2006: preliminary presentations due to Fluent for review and comment

August 25, 2006: final presentations due (Powerpoint file)
