Lloyd’s Register is hosting a ship scale hydrodynamics
simulation workshop on 25 November 2016, at their Global
Technology Centre in Southampton.
The workshop is open to all hydrodynamic modelling
practitioners from industry and academia who are interested
in improving the science of ship scale modelling. The main
objective of the workshop is to compare results of modern
numerical methods with Lloyd's Register's sea trials
measurements, to assess and develop the capabilities of the
numerical tools in ship scale and increase confidence in
ship scale Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
