The von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) is seeking a talented individual to join our world-renowned Environmental and Applied Fluid Dynamics (EA) department as a permanent faculty member.

• Hold a PhD in engineering related to aeroacoustics, multiphase flows, wind energy, environmental flows, heat management, industrial safety
• Possess strong teaching skills and expertise in CFD (RANS, LES)?

In this role, you will:

• Develop and teach graduate-level courses in computational fluid dynamics for our prestigious Research Master program.
• Mentor research students and guide PhD and Postdoc candidates, fostering a diverse and inclusive research environment.
• Lead innovative research on CFD advancements, collaborating with VKI's diverse research units.
• Collaborate with a diverse network of researchers (industry and academic institutions), gaining valuable insights and perspectives.
• Publish groundbreaking findings in leading scientific journals.
