Hypersonica develops necessary dual-use hypersonic vehicles to ensure Europe's resilience and 
independence in the defence and space sector. Both founders completed their PhDs in experimental 
hypersonics at the University of Oxford. After successfully securing seed funding from tier 1 investors, they 
are now looking for a hypersonics CFD Engineer. 

What you’ll do:

•	Actively shape the company and define its culture as our first technical hire
•	Contribute to conceptual design, CAD implementation and CFD parameter studies
•	Collaborate closely with the hardware and testing team 

About you:

•	3+ years of experience in high-speed flow CFD modelling (ideally with Ansys Fluent)
•	Experience in conceptual design, implementation in CAD (ideally Solidworks) and running of parameter 
studies
•	Broad knowledge and understanding of fluid dynamics, heat/mass transfer, high-temperature gases
•	Culture driver with a moral compass: you take responsibility and act like a leader
•	Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
•	Robust analytical skillset, hands-on-mentality, and a great communicator 
•	Results driven, organized and highly motivated
•	NATO citizen; willing to relocate to Munich
