The Laboratory for Computational Turbulence at Mechanical Engineering 
is accepting applications for Doctoral and Master's students 
in Computational Fluid Dynamics for the academic year 2024. 

The research topics are
- Advanced Numerical Method for single and multi-phase flow.
- Precision Agriculture with simulation technology
- Data-driven turbulence modeling 
- Acoustic simulation 
- Particle in Turbulence
- Heat and mass transfer in HVAC systems

The applicant should have the following skills and characteristics
- Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 scale. 
- A strong background in Mathematics, 
  Fundamental Physics (fluid mechanics, heat transfer, etc.) and programming.
- Be determined 
- Having a can-do attitude 
- Willing to pursue extracurricular research activity (Research assistantship)

The doctoral student will study under 
the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Mechanical Engineering. 
Two tracks are available in this degree: 
1. Dissertation only and 
2. Dissertation with coursework. 
An excellent Bachelor's graduate can go directly to a Ph.D. program. 

The master's student will study under 
the Master of Engineering Program in Advanced Computational Engineering 
and Design, which was developed jointly with Cranfield University, 
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and the University of Patras.
