At the LHSV (Saint-Venant Hydraulics Laboratory), we are currently looking for candidates for a funded 3 year PhD project, "Wave interaction with offshore wind turbine foundations in the coastal zone - effects of wave non-linearity, wave breaking and complex flow structure", using a combination of numerical and experimental methods.
The main thesis supervisors would be Jeffrey Harris (ENPC & LHSV) and Michel Benoit (EDF R&D & LHSV), with other researchers from the lab involved in the project, notably Marissa Yates, Christophe Peyrard, and Sebastien Boyaval. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
