Openfoam Installtion on Linux Fedora

Hi All,
I am new to this forum & I am using OpenFoam first time. I want to install OpenFoam on Linux (Fedora 11) Please, Can any body can help to get installation procedure doc or link ? it's very urgent.....Please..... Thanks alot in advance |

Greetings Devesh,
If you want fast, then just follow the instructions from this page for Linux 32bit. If you're using 64bit, follow the instructions on this page. In these you have pre-compiled binaries of OpenFOAM, so you'll get it working pretty fast! In case you want to compile yourself, follow (by hand) the scripts MadsR has made for Ubuntu, available in 32bit and 64bit flavors. I say by hand, because there are many differences between Fedora and Ubuntu. I hope you can manage to get it up and running. Best, Bruno |
