Hi, Foamers, I am trying to use OpenFOAM to simulate the injection into two-phase stratified flow. There is a two-phase (saturated water and vapor) flow through a large horizontal pipe. A cold water flow is injected from the top of the pipe. I am simulating the flow field, such as density, temperature, etc. At first, the condensation will be NOT taken into account for simplicity. After that, I am going to consider the condensation.
Any ideas, suggestions and comments on this problem are appreciated. Best regards, Chiven |

Can actually OpenFOAM solve for VoF and hear transfer? I don't think any of interFoam solver allows for such solution or maybe I just don't know enough.

There is no solver included that does VOF and heat transfer in the vanilla package, but it's fairly simple to add a scalar transport equation to interFoam.
