WARNING: Periodic face x in zone y is not pointing to the right shadow. Does anyone know what this means and how would I go about fixing it?

Thanks

It means that the periodic specification in your mesh isn't right. In FLUENT, go to >Define>Boundary Conditions, select your periodic zone and hit "Edit". Check that the periodicity type is correctly selected as translational or rotational to match your geometry. This isn't the only thing that can cause this error in mesh check, but it's probably the most common one.
