There is an open position for a postdoc researcher who can do self-directed 
research for energy and environmental applications with Professor Duckjong Kim 
at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Gyeongsang National University (lab 
homepage: https://needs.gnu.ac.kr/). 

The requirements for the opening are
1. majoring in mechanical engineering
2. having a sufficient understanding of thermodynamic power/refrigeration cycles
3. having a sufficient understanding of heat and mass transfer
4. having in-depth experience in numerical simulation of heat and mass transfer 
(especially topology optimization or modeling of real thermal fluid machines)
5. having at least three first-authored articles published in Q1-level SCI(E) 
journals since 2021 (must check at https://www.resurchify.com/ranking)
6. being available to join by June 2024.

Only applicants who meet the above requirements will be considered. Please check 
them carefully.

In the first contracted year, the researcher will receive at least 3,000,000 
KRW/month as a salary (including tax, but some part of the tax can be refunded), 
3,000,000 KRW/year as a discharge allowance, and some amount of incentive. Also, 
depending on the working periods, the salary will be increased.
